Around five children a day are given a cancer diagnosis, and the journey they face can be scary and unpredictable. They miss out on important events and days out due to the risk of infection. We hope to bring a little joy to each and every child we support because we know the impact cancer has on a child's life. Raeyah's Hands of Support provides shopping vouchers and sensory entertainment packages to try and help make life a little less stressful when faced with long hospital stays.
If you know a child going through cancer treatment and think they would benefit from one of our entertainment packages please get in touch or ask your child's CLIC nurse to contact us.

In 2023, Raeyah's parents, Becky & Kevin, and friends who have known the family for years started a fundraisers to get Raeyah treatment overseas, which was unavailable in the UK.
Despite everyone's efforts and support form the local community, Raeyah passed away before her parents were able to speak with the consultant overseas. Through the heartache that comes with child loss Becky & Kevin decided the best thing to do for Raeyah was to continue her legacy and help other children going through cancer treatment. One of Raeyah's brothers has Autism, and the relationship between them was unbreakable. However, when she passed away, he struggled to understand and come to terms with the loss.
Reayah's brother had spent time in hospital himself before Raeyah's diagnosis, and the family were aware of the anxiety he felt being away from home. This is why they made it their mission is to provide sensory care packages for children with Autism going through cancer treatment in the hope it helps them manage long days and provides them with some calm in a busy, unpredictable environment.
